Today I worked on marked motifs. I found it challenging to follow the lines but I still enjoyed it. There are quite a few places where my stitches became very small - my brain couldn't handle 2 tasks at once! I noticed my shoulders and neck really tensing up, even after only a couple of minutes. Will definitely work on relaxing a bit.
My favorite flower. Next time will do bubbles (not brains) in the center! |
I enjoy doing this fill. |
The fabric is actually ivory muslin, not grey. Will try daylight pictures next time |
Happy Stitching

Your work is amazing! I'm quite envious.
Wonderful! I love what you are doing. Great job!
I know if you're like me, you probably don't need another sewing/quilting gadget, but I was just watching a youtube video from Sharon Schamber called the Quilt Halo... and she mentions in the video that the Halo helps to alleviate that tension build up in a person's neck and shoulders.
BTW... your FMQ is really looking gorgeous.
Your quilting is fantastic! Some of these are quite complicated designs and look amazing. Keep going! Ann :-)
