I managed to squeeze a bit of sewing in. It may look like I accomplished quite a bit but this little quilt was pretty much done, so just cleaned up some of the loose threads and added a hanging sleeve. It seems most of my night was on the computer getting design ideas to try the technique again. It never ceases to amaze me how fast time goes when I get in front of the darn computer!
It was an amazing class in Mock Mola Applique, which is a raw edge reverse applique. Cathy brought tons of her inspirational quilts. We received very clear instructions and she made sure that she spent one on one time with each and every one of us, helping us with our individual designs. The next day she was the guest speaker/singer at the guild and had asked us to bring what we had done for show and tell. I would say that most people had finished their wall hangings, only their binding was missing! She put on a fabulous show for us, with stories and songs about quilting. If you ever have the chance, take her class or go to her show, you won't be sorry!
It's been months since I've been on blogger. Your quilt is beautiful but I really love your funky flowers quilt!! And what a worthy cause to donate it to :)

Your little quilt is amazing. It looks like it would be fun to learn how to do this kind of applique.

How pretty and vibrant! And I know what you mean about the computer eating up time... there are just so many interesting things to learn.
