A FEW CURVES for FNSI

I took a class taught by Marj Moore a couple of weeks ago. Our guild is very fortunate to have her as a member. Click on her name to see some of her phenomenal quilts. The class was on the pattern from the book "It's in the Bag" by Hopscotch . For the FNSI I finished adding some of the curves.
I won't be making it into a bag. It will be yet another wall quilt. I'm thinking of adding a couple of sections onto it to make it more substantial. The ideas need to percolate in my head just a little longer.

Thank you Heidi and Bobbi for hosting the FNSI. I look forward to it every month as I'm sure everyone else does :)

If you have a moment, take a look at all the quilts for Dad entered at the Quilting Gallery contest. I've entered my quilt "It's a Guy Thing". Vote for your favorite (perhaps mine?). Voting ends Sunday night (or Monday morning depending on your time zone).

Happy Stitching

I have not been on blog-land for awhile, barely sewn but today I thought, why not - I am in the mood to sew (have been for a few days now and that brings me back to see 'what's new out here on the web.

I LOVE what I have seen on the last few posts you have done!! If I ever need inspiration, I know where to come. Your Father's Day quilt is amazing!! Your Winnipeg Sky line is wonderful - and I am glad you told how you did it!!
And I laughted when I read about the guild challange for the UFO's - you had 10 and got one done!!! And I love that one too!!!
How many guilds do you belong to and is that fun??
I dropped out of the one in town here a couple years ago, and am thinking I should (need!!) to go back.

Your charm top is fun!! And don't stop working on it now!! You might only 'need to' - but sometime that deadline shows up awfully fast!!!

And I agree about 'old' projects loosing some magic when left to collect dust!!! I do the same! (which is why I left the guild and went into hiding!!! I needed to find my spark again!! And I am thinking, it's here!!!)

I love first pic on this post - Stunning!! It will be a great wall hanging - very nicely done.

Thank-You for this magic show!!! I am so glad I came to visit today. Now, I can grab my tea and get back to the log cabins I am working on today!!!

What a stunning pattern. I love your colour choices. I'll have to look for Marj's pattern.

Gosh! This piece looks quite challenging and the different patterned batiks give it such character. ann :-)
