Forest is coming together

My forest of birch trees is coming together! I painted a few of the trunks, added borders and am now ready to start quilting. The photo was taken at a wonky angle. Will take some better ones once the quilting is done.
I'm linking up with WIP Wednesday at Freshly Pieced and WIP Wednesday at the Needle and Thread Network. Check out what everyone else is working on!

I love this. Where I ride (when the snow goes) we go through a grove of birch trees that crisscross and bend giving such a wonderful sense of movement. Your quilt does the same.

We used to have a lovely large birch tree in our front yard, but it was felled by disease (and my local tree guy after it died). So I have to say, I really love your little quilt--it reminds me of that graceful tree and the wonderful texture of the bark. A job well done!

Very striking, I had trouble stopping to look at the picture and exploring all the nuances.

Very artistic looking and quite peaceful. LOVE your sidebar dog pix, especially Jaxi's eyebrows! :)
