Sometimes I quilt. The rest of the time I look at books, magazines and quilting sites trying to decide which project I want to do. Once I find the right pattern or think of a design I'd like to try it can take forever to find the right fabric. This year I'm going to change all that! I'm going to stop the insanity! No new books, no new fabrics.....who am I kidding??? Let's just say I'm going to relax, not worry so much about the outcome and enjoy the process!

One more day
Last night I decided not to spend anymore time on sewing a quilt that I just didn't like. In the bright light of the morning I figured I would give this quilt one more day. So...I will now applique circles in the small squares. I just wish I would have decided that before I finished sewing the top together! Here is what it might end up looking like (still trying to decide if the circles are big enough).

Hi Corina,
Welcome to blogland! I do hope you will share some of your favourite finished quilts with us..oh and your fabric stash please. I like your scrappy quilt with snowball blocks. Have you thought about using embroidery stitches in the snowballs? I put green ants crawling on top of Jason's vegetable quilt and some yellow elephants on Shannon's quilt with my Pfaff QE 4.
Or perhaps multicoloured thread to sew free motion butterflies meandering all over your quilt. Jane at "sew create it" posted a video of free motion butterflies here.
