My design wall was completely taken over by my Moody Blues quilt in progress. I wanted to take a break from it but didn't want to take it down. The solution? I pinned a vinyl flannel backed tablecloth over top (flannel to the front). I instantly had a fresh surface to work on my double nine patch (the one I had a slight melttdown over a few months ago in this post).
I've made quite a bit of headway on it. All the blocks and corner triangles are ready to be sewn together. Any of those little imperfections are forgotten. So what if a couple of points aren't perfect - I love this quilt! Tonight I'm going to start sewing all the blocks together. It would be amazing to have it finished by the end of the month as my February Sew It's Finished project. If not, at least I will way ahead on a March submission!Happy Stitching

I'm glad you decided to just go ahead and love your quilt. Who needs the Quilt Police? The quilt looks pretty good to me!
Hi Corina,
Your double nine patch quilt is gorgeous. I was told the Amish ladies deliberately put a mistake in every quilt top because only God is perfect. Looking forward to seeing the finished quilt.
Smart solution for your designwall. I see your dogs take over your couch:-)
I love your quilt. Great !!!
Once again your colour selection is stunning - beautiful quilt.
Your quilts/crafts are so fantastic! It's so nice to find other quilters all around the world!
